Default T1R intake dyno : Take 2

Hi Guys,

Finally got the chance to do the 2nd dyno test. My car is MT with 5500kms.

This dyno is : STOCK intake vs T1R Carbon Intake
Peak : +2.35hp Torque : + 5.09 ft/lbs
at 5500rpm +5.3hp
at 4500rpm +3.5hp
at 3500rpm +2.0hp

This Dyno is : STOCK vs T1R intake + T1R 50S Muffler (Yes Muffler ONLY)

Peak : +7.5hp Torque +3.75 ft/lbs
at 5500rpm +5.30hp
at 4500rpm +3.50hp
at 3500rpm +2.50hp

The b-pipe, header and test pipe didn't come on time so I wasn't able to dyno it together. I assume with the b-pipe it will easily make another 2.5-3hp so INTAKE + 50S should make up to 10hp

Thanks
Ben

Nice numbers.

I'm curious when that muffler will be for sale? And will you guys be making a non-CF version of your intake?

thanks,
JP

that's a good question.. i don't imagine the CF really does all that much except add cost and just look pretty

They don't really make it, they just distribute it...but just like HT, everyone even lowballs the distributors

Probably just a glitch with the rpm pickup....it happens from time to time....

as far as I know they design the t1r products and aren't just distributors.. i'm curious what gains you'd see in temps over plastic

I think the intake temp will be pretty much the same but making them in plastic, the mold cost will be high and we have to make like 1000 at a time.
