Default Help with Gay *** Nissan wiring Harness

For all you Audio Guru's out there.
As if Nissan couldnt make a more confusing ****** harness... Lol.. I pretty much got everything wired up, the ones im not sure what to do with are as follows.
They are all ground wires.... so i was thinking of just grounding all of them directly to the chassis.... what do i do?
The red ground is coming directly from the CD player
The purple and Blue Grounds are coming from the Main Harnesses
The Orange ground is a little different, it says Amplifier ground and it doesnt seem to be connected to any of the harnesses that im Using. I dont think i need to mess with that one. Any Help would be Appreciated.

cap off the grounds in the harness, and ground the wire from the cd player to the metal framework in the dash. nissans do not have a ground wire in their oem harness(most of them). then plug in you antenna and your done. any other car, you would connect your cd player ground to the harness ground wire. hope this helps.

Ugh, i helped my friend do a setup in his 240...what a pain in the ***. BAsicly, forget the stock harness, get a 4way amp and just wire the Hu up to the harness( power/lead/ keystart/ and remote start for amp) then run audio wire to the amp. And also, find somthing to do about the rears or whatever they are, cuz u WILL be dissapointed by the sound. and theyre a bitch to access. nissans r cheap

One thing that is making it the clusterf#2k it is, is the use of the "all in one" wiring harness adapter, [fits both 1st and 2nd gen. 240sx], this one... http://www.scosche.com/scosche...NN02B
or this one... http://www.scosche.com/scosche...NN03B would have been a little easier, [also available from Metra, Best and probably one or two more suppliers.

But your main problem is grounding, as JSPECSIR points out, most Nissan's do not have a ground lead in the oem radio harness, [grounding is done through chassis to chassis contact] I would remove the ground leads from the adapter harness and ground the aftermarket HU harness to the chassis, as mentioned. You may also have a problem if the stock system was an "Active" system, [will say on the door speaker grills.]

What year is the 240? 94
