Okay so this is kind've a random question but figured this would be the place to find out. So I bought a 98 prelude sh about a year ago and it came with tan leather, my question is, is that rare. I'm not complaining I absolutely love it. But all of the other 5th gens that I have seen are just cloth interior. I know the 4th gens come in leather but does anyone else know about any other 5th gens coming in leather.

 

I have seen some with leather. But yea they are "rare". The first owners must of payed a few extra bucks to get tha letha.

 

All the leather seats that are in the 5th gen in the US are dealers installed, which means that is was fitted after the car left eh factory.

In Canada the SH model and the 2001 SE model came with leather as an option from the Factory.

 

I have black leather in my 00 SH, came from the dealership like that. they are also heated.

Some people are willing to pay top dollar for these..

 

My 00 Base has black leather nonheated. Will be selling the fronts/rears in a few months though to get some Sparcos. Didn't figure it was all that rare when I bought the car but have only seen a few that had leather. I have never seen one that had Tan leather though, that must be pretty sweet. Wj

 

Yeah it's pretty sweet. I have the Eucalyptus Green I was never big on the color and once I saw it with leather it really sets it off. Looks good!!

 

i have a 2001 SE and oh man the black leather looks so good when cleaned with meguires leather whipes!!
