K20a Virgin help info
I just bought a 2001 civic coupe lx. I am trying to find out exactly all i need to install a k20. I have searched but no exact step by step or list off goods needed. can anyone please help or point me in the right direction?
thanks! in your experience is it worth the money? I am an avid ek lover and i have a b18c5 in mine but it wasnt worth the five grand after i was done. I had to fully build it to make it worth my time.

It'll be a good engine, for sure. Nothing but healthy amounts of Horsepower/Torque, with high potential of producing much more.
Best of luck.

A k24a2 can be found for A LOT cheaper, and has GOBS more torque. and IMO would be a better daily drivable engine.</TD></TR></TABLE>
It all depends on the owner's ability to modify the engine. If you don't want to touch the internals, it's smarter to buy a K20A2 or K20A, but if you love to tinker, then a K24 is nice.

Maybe ur think of k24a1/3/4</TD></TR></TABLE>
The VTC is still only set at 25degrees of movement, where as the K20A2 has 42 (I think), and the K20A has 50 (I know).

I agree with that, since it puts better power down (in it's stock form).

They sure did here in Canada. TSX came in either a 6 speed or tiptronic auto i believe.
