The Civic Si forum is down the hall, 2nd door on your left, take a right, elevator up to the 3rd floor, left, and its the 4th door on the right.

Click here for EP3 (02-05 Si) and DC5 (RSX-S) forums.

But to awnser your question, he is lying out his ***. No way he added 36 whp with no tune, with just an intake and an exhaust, especially not on the K20A3 he has in that car. No way in hell..

Call him out on it.

there is no way you are going to milk the K20A3 for 36 ANYTHING hp without a tune, and more bolt-ons than a cat back and an intake. It just will NOT happen.

this might be off topic but what type of bimmer do you have? my best friend has a 04 330CI with SMG and my other friend has a 325I. BMW's are pretty sick cars

This is how you calculate how much crank hp you have:

Add all of the ebay claims that are associated with your parts together. So if you have a header (15hp), SRI (25hp), short shift kit (5hp), +4 plugs (10hp), and a Turbonator (45hp), this will give you 100 hp + the factory rating.

10 might be about right, maybe even a stretch. The cat will negate most of what the catback and header could add, not to mention the need for a tune. The SRI is likely sucking in hot air. From what I know, the EM2's k20A3 is hard to extract HP from with just bolt ons.
