H22 crx inlet manifold question
I bought a skunk2 intake manifold a while ago for my crx h22 swap only to find the runners are too long. I was thinking of modifying it then I saw this on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD2V
Yes I know the dreaded OBX word but im wondering if anyone has used this succesfully? As it would save me money and I cant think of another alternative for the right price. The runners seem to be an ideal length also.
Thanks

The OBX is junk you have to modify it to fit....that aint right lol bosses on the fuel rail dont line up either...is your manifold a pro series? or older one? Best bet is to cut down the runners evenly to take out what you need and get it re welded and smoothed out inside. Pretty easy, take out the area that is pretty much straight and no bends....you may be able to take about 1" out...
Thanks for the replies. Its a pro series manifold, im guessing I need a tig welder then for alu? If it is alu? The cutting and smoothing I can do myself
I'll take a few measurements next time im in the garage
