my gas gauge is acting stupid...?
ok my gas gauge has been acting up lately, ill have a full tank of gas and it should run about 100 miles every quarter of a tank(average) but for the last couple of fill-ups, ill go like 100-120 miles or so and it will be at half tank or less..wtf??
to add..i also have a vacum leak that is making my car idle irradically, you think that has to do with it? i dunno..wtf??

That'd be the gas sloshing around in the tank. If I go around a left hand cloverleaf at any kind of speed with less than a full tank I can watch the gas gauge drop FAST. Straighten out and it comes back..slowly. The baffles in the EG tanks suck.

true mine is also just plain retarded. I just watch the miles now, people that ride with me are like omfg dude ur so low on gas and then i say nah i just got about 110 miles left.

true that. a bit over half tank, it wont really drop.. but a bit below half...

Yup, I hate it on the track. Hard left hand sweeper and under 1/3 tank and my engine coughs. Baaaad news.
