I think the heater element is out in my O2.I threw a OBD2 reader on it and it says code 1167?Does any one know that code for the base model RSX thanks

 

You are right about the o2 sensor, that P1167 is a code for the PRIMARY o2 sensor. more than likely a replacement should take care of that problem. If a replacement does not fix it, then its in the wiring, or possibly in the ECU itself.

On the K20A3, the primary sensor sits right ahead of the cat converter... you can get a new one from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for about 190 bucks from what I am seeing.

thank you ....... Ya thats is what I thought because the code would come on in the morning but not when the motor was warm..COOL.. I'm getting the replacement.
