Default friends H22 hatch

we went to the track last nigt and in 85-90 degree heat he pulled a 13.3 something like 104mph i dont have the slip. But the motor is completly stock-ran open header and cold air set up,whole car is gutted, but it is a streetable car

it was eating up this TT supra that came up there wiht u, all it could get was a 13.9 but that is all driver problems

exactly how bad is the weight distribution thrown off with an h22 swap? Does the car really handle that much differently?

there have been many debates on this... the h22 is around 80 pounds more than a b series engine. From what i've heard from people with h22 swaps say it's not too bad. But i guess it all depends on what you want to do. Like I mainly autox, so i'm not all too worried about having my d16 engine in my car, as it makes the front end lighter than a b series engine.

i love the h motor in my ek the thing seems like it never stops pulling. i have type s pistons and dfi when the vtec comes in the thing is a monster. i havent got a chance to take it to the track yet but that time is coming. as for the handeling aspect its really not that bad,but its not an autox car thats for sure.if you gotta run from the cops just hope there is alot of nice straight road and youll be out. the car has 5 lug conversion but i decided to try to be a lil different and go for something other than itr rims,i have 2 sets for sale if anyone is interested.

I know but that doesn't mean he has to put down somebody for going with that set up. It take alot of work and $$$ to get this accomplished. I'm sure you know that.

I highly doubt that any place is going to have a complete run down on it. Why would any installer post it up, when they can keep on charging high rates for the "forbidden swap"? hehehe. But you might get lucky and find someone that has it posted.

u must get some good deals on itr engines, cause trhey run around the high 4000 range and h22 runs like 2200....there is a big difference in price there
