Yeah that does make it difficult, is there like an extended name for the 'ZC' engine? Oh I know, how about make the search able to find words with 2 characters?

its not for just searching but the same questions pup up once a week and its annoying. people asking what parts i need for a b16, its been discussed. Post pics of your ef its already been done 20 times this month, where can i get a jdm front end- WE have been thru this 20 times. Search is to basically give you the info before you take the time to post the question it might have already been answered so you take your lazy *** and type in a keyword and see. it isn't that hard kids i promise.i've done it all day today

The search function here blows. Half the time nothing comes up for what you type in then you post it and get flamed.. I would rather get flamed then use the search here. My .02

i'd sya it all really depends on what kinda question you're asking, like if its an opinion about your car, cant figure out what a certan noise is or something like that, post. but if its like can someone tell me the average cost for a B16,, or like ocmparing engines, what parts u need and everything like that, search. although the search function can be hard to find stuff on sometimes too

I think it depends on how you ask the questions....I personally am rather new, and IM sure ive posted stuff thats already been asked 100 times over...but I havent gotten flamed once...but I dont get on and say where can I get a B16??? I mean I guess I ask reasonable questions...mostly directed toward a specific audience.

Its not what you have to ask, its how you ask it....or vise versa....

F'in nOOb's. Always want answers handed to them. Look at my post number and then look at my membership time (over a year). And I read the board for awhile before joining. READ and search. LEARN something. Spoonfeeding info is for babies, not nOOb's. And GET OUT AND WORK ON YOUR CAR. Remember, the answer to how do I take off my bumper? Is with a 12mm ratchet and open end wrench. yeah but their questions don't seem to do they. Even if their cars change there are still archived topics on something that i'm sure they are asking

I agree, but after asking a question to moderators, I realize what they go through(trinity) and understand, but I do like seeing other people's cars, I like getting ideas, and on the subject of JDM Front End's, engine comparisions...hell yeah always use the search and usually it works, but sometimes you have a specific question that doens't get answered in the searches...so you post it ONCE...if no answers...find someone and IM them...that's the best way IMO

If you guys want to knw why I posted my JDM front end conversion post, it was because when people have technical problems, there are only a few people who actually help. But when people have JDM questions people answer them quick, me and my freind wanted to see how many responses I got from that, compared to a tech question.

It is what trinity said last month....

Its not that we are too lazy or anything it is that someone could be in need of help and these stupid daily posts come up and send the important ones down.........
