HELP!: piece of ceramic from spark plug got into my motor. It's in the cylinder head. what should i do?

it's a d16y8 motor..

 

thats not ceramic.. it is porcelain.. that stuff is very strong if you throw a tiny piece at a window it would break the window into a million tiny pieces.. anyway im getting off the subject.. i wouldent start the car till i got it out!!

 

I'm pretty sure it's ceramic, it's the white(from NGK plugs) part that covers the electrode, not the part you think it is.

I guess i have to take the motor a part... damn

 

Try one of those small vacuums with a hose small enough to suck it out

 

Just use a shop vac and an assortment of hoses.

 

I had the same thing happen was running to lean on the bottle and the plug melted. I never did anything about it. It is small enough to get blown out the exhaust. If your rally worried pull th eplug out and disconnect all the spark plug wires and crank the motor over either the piece will shoot out the top or it will slip past your exhaust valves
