their made by depo, and the holes are for city lights. you can get 97 up prelude city light sockets from honda to fit them. mine were not bright with regular bulbs, so i put casper shields and oem acura d2r (hid) bulbs in.

their not tyc. tyc does not have the fluting around the edge of the lense depo does thats how you tell the difference. and to the op if you buy the hid's you will also need ballasts.

Do yours have gaps like this guys? Or do they meet up like factory? I'm just wondering if they are any good I might buy a set to retro my hids into.

BTW those are depo lights heres a pic, although these are blackhousing.

You have to pay to play man...

A ballast is what you need to control the HIDs. You can get them out of anything, S2k, lexus IS300, etc.

here are old shitty pics of mine, i think one of them may have a cracked lense from a rock also. but anyway it gives you an idea of how they fit.

if you want to save money just buy the setup from http://www.hidexpert.com that i showed you. the oem bulbs are here #7
http://www.acuraautomotivepart...y.jsp
and you can buy hella ballasts on ebay for cheap. also the light output is pretty clean with the shields in there. i backed my car into the bay at work a couple months back beside an escalade (non projector hid) and we cut on my headlights and the escalades, and the light output pattern on the bay doors were extremely similar, and mine had no more upward glare than the escalades did. the only difference is the escalades headlights are much higher because of its size.
