K20A2 Swapped 98 DX Civic coupe Flawless condition Absolutely done right! CT
Chasis: 1998 Civic DX coupe
Color: New Formula Red (NSX/S2K)
Mods: [drivetrain]
K20A2 Swap. Only 15K. 100% LEGIT. Came from a wrecked car. i helped to remove it myself. i saw the odometer and title from the vehicle at that time. there is NO FUNNY BUSINESS ABOUT THIS SWAP!
DC5 ITR LSD!!! No one wheel warrior here!
K-PRO!!!!! Already calibrated for intake/header/exhaust!!
Gsr front brake spindles. All new pads.
Hasport mounts
Hasport Race axles - good for 400whp!!!
Hybrid racing harness
ACT Clutch

Countless mods i cant even think of or remember since i starter this project almost a year ago...
Mods [Appearance]:
Brand new paint job. LITERALLY, BRAND NEW. car has NOT been driven on the street since paint job. Full color change to new formula red (from milano red). The entire engine bay was painted. Every nut, bolt, wire, etc was removed and the engine bay was prepped and painted. all uneccessary holes were filled. it looks amazing.

Si wheels- SIX total. i have to extras to mount slicks/drag radials on. NEW TIRES on all 4 rims. 60-70% tread on two spares.

Details:
This car belonged to my 65 year old retired father. He was the original and only owner of the car. in the 8 years that he owned it, he put approx 70k on it.
I got the car from him a year ago and pulled the motor out. over the last year i have been working on this k20 swap. I am in the process now of finishing the swap. the only thing the swap needs to be complete and for the car to run is a serpentine belt. I apparently bought the wrong size belt and it didnt fit. I am now in the process of ordering a new belt from hybrid racing. I will have it running withing the next week or two. The car will then be ready for sale. Im posting it early to gauge interest.
NOTE: THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN WITH THE SWAP IN IT YET. THEREFORE IT HAS NOT BEEN BEATEN ON. YOU WILL BE GETTING A CAR WITH FRESH PAINT AND A FRESH SWAP!!!!!
The car is in mint condition inside and out. i cannot find a single blemish on the vehicle worth noting. my father never had an accident with the car and there was minimal dings/etc on it at the time it went in for paint. As you can see in the pics, the paint came out GOREGOUS. the car is truly amazing. You really need to see it in person to get the full effect.
TO answer the obvious question- why am i selling it?
the answer is very simple. Ive almost completely lost interest in hondas. Ive totally lost interest in this car. it took far too long to complete this project and cost entirely too much. Im planning to buy a house in the spring and this car is turing out just to be a huge waste of money. Because of its outstanding condition and the fact that everything has absolutely been done right in swapping it and no expense was spared, this car will make someone VERY happy.
I have 2 pictures taken recently of the car. Right now, this is ALL i have. I will take more once the car is running (in a week or two). From these two pictures, you can get a good idea for what the car is all about. Please note- the wheels on the car have been sold. it will come with six si wheels instead.
Right now i am taking offers. the car will most likely be sold on ebay. im just putting it up for sale early to see if anyone on this site is SERIOUSLY interested before i list it on ebay.

I have seen many 92-95 k20 swapped civics sell for the 10K price range.. and they had MANY more miles on the chasis than this has.. and did NOT have the paintwork that this car has. PLEASE do not lowball me. i will ignore you.
