FS: b16a1 & swap stuff
overall: i'm selling it b/c i want to enter echc and race in the h4 bracket (no hybrids)

the b16a1...it has been compression and leakdown tested by (http://http://www.jspecauto.com/). i think i still have the papers. it came shrink wrapped to its crate and is in great condition. i've never run it and has been sitting in my garage. it came out of a jdm teg xsi. ecu is a pr3 and is in great condition. only flaws i've found are a small crack in the distributor cap and the crankshaft pulley has a small chip in it (in pic)...i'm asking $900 firm for the engine/tranny/ecu/intermediate shaft...i also won't ship b/c of all the hassle (i'm in washington, dc area)...though if buyer pays for shipping and agrees to $950 (for all my trouble) i may reconsider http://www.jaje.org/images/b16a1_top.jpg http://www.jaje.org/images/b16a1_stamp.jpg http://www.jaje.org/images/crksht_pulley.jpg
tranny is a j1 (identical to the s1) and it is in great condition...it came with the engine. Stock flywheel, clutch and pp are in good working order. court: i'm not going to do the b series into my rex...east coast honda challenge is a cool series and i want to race next year...i'm gonna get a d series engine in order to be able to compete in the h4 classification (basically convert my hf into a crx si sans sunroof)
i read the (have to ship) policy and just don't agree with it...i'm not a dealer so i want the buyer to be able to inspect it before purchase...$900 is a lot of money to take a risk with...i know lots of people who spent a lot of cash and didn't get what they were promised
