i need to pass my smog. saw this high flow cat on ebay. It refer 2.5 inlet/outlet. My stock pipe diameter is 2". they are saying it'll fit stock exhaust??! Will it bolt on the flange or there's a welding require. Btw i don't want to deal with welding. Just a direct bolt on. PLease help. Thanks

 

the ebay one is most likely a resonator. you won't pass emissions with that.

either get a carsound if you are strapped for cash, or get a random technology high flow (i passed emissions with this on a h22a)

 

i see..carsound is cheaper. will carsound MagnaFlow be any problem with smog?

 

i dunno. don't have personal experience with it.

The Magnaflow ones on eBay will pass smog, and they sell for $48.95 with free shipping

seems like a welding job for the carsound megaflow. Which should i get? 2.5 or 2.0 diameter? I have a stock 2.0 i believe. Let me know. thanks
