Wheel locks won't do you any good buddy.........unless you get so of the good ones that have the intrenal keys. Its called a GATOR GRIP You know that socket that can be used on anything from wing-nuts to stripped and rounded bolts. I have heard that from many people when i tell them i just bought some wheel locks for my car. They like who cares they will just use the gator grip. I have 95 GSR wheels on my hatch and I got a set a wheel locks on my wheels but I really don't have to worry.......but in some ways i do.

They actually did try to take the whole car, that's why they broke the window and cut the battery cables and forced the ignicion lock.
The cops told me that in this area they haven't seen anything like that for the last two years.

Reno's got a point though...at least they put it up on blocks?! I know that's not any consolation, but at least they didn't get the whole car.

It was 2001 GS-R's wheels. I like them a lot.

 

You should pick up some McGuard locks
I cant get that **** off for anything. The shop broke my key. and now I have been trying for two weeks going from shop to shop trying to get them off. No luck so far. I was told the only way I can get it off is to send in my key and get a new one.

Goes to show you the quality. I even broke a few screw drivers trying to get them off. Pisses me off to cause I have new rims I want to install. (Tenzo Rs)

Oh ya and car theifs that put your rotors on blocks are just stupid. they steal your rims the screw up your rotors by dropping them on blocks lol. Dumb theifs.

Saying i got the ninja star ones (whatever the factory name is) i just wanna know what wheels u had but there has been so many stock wheels being stolen over in my city Frederick, Maryland The Gs-R and the civic SI everybody wants them so im at my window checking my damn car about once an hour lol It's just **** that people have to be dicks like that!! Sorry for your loss man give me some feedback on what ya get new!!

 

Are they really that great of a quality if the key broke? I'm just curious because I might be getting a new set myself, so I'm not trying to flame.

 

The star key? isnt that standard for most tuner lugs? I have a star key for my regular lugs then another key for the odd shaped design in the locking lug.

Yes they are good. You just have to be smart and not let a stupid tire shop use a impact gun to take your lugs off. That how it broke. A McGuards employee told me specifically that you are not suppost to use a impact gun on them. If you do they will more then likely break. Heres a pic of the lug.

The key slides over the lug all the way until that lip at the bottom. Its a perfect fit in between your rim and the lug.

Another one, man this is ridiculous when they stole my stock rims they dint even put it on blocks and they left the car in the middle of the road

 

I just got my new wheels !!!! They towed the car to the dealer to get the ignition and steering lock, battery and window fixed.
