I have searced both HT and google, and read a lot about exhaust. Now I am totally confused!!!

Currentley I have 2" pipe,resonator (18" about) and a magnaflow muffler. It sucks!! It is TOO loud. On the up side the tone is great. Nice a deep, not rattle, no buzz. Even the exhaust shop said how nice the tone was.

With that being said I have to get away from the loud exhaust. At first I thought just a new muffler, but looking at the pipe size and the quality of the install I want a new system. I have read about full exhaust systems (DC,Apexi...etc) and custom jobs. I know I want a new custom setup. 2.5" pipe, resonator, muffler. I have looked at vibrant and ES oval, but I have also seen guys say they have run generic summit racing ones with great luck.

So I need suggestions on a setup. I am willing to sacarafice flow/performance for a quiter ride. Of course I know it will be louder then stock. I love the tone/loudness of the G35's. I know my car will never sound like that, but I would like it to be humble, yet you know it has an exhaust system on it (if that makes sense)

O ya the car is a 96 Integra LS B18B with I/H/E, as soon as I pass smog I will drop my cams in and get a mild tune.

 

Buy a 2.5" SS piping kit & 22" resonator from SMSP. Mate that to a HyTech twin-loop can. High-flow + quiet!


Did you go to Vegas for Interbike?

 

Missed out on interbike (again) My boss went and said he saw nothing special. I hav not had a chance to get any real details from him.
