i have an 89 crx si w/ 93 integra gsr brake calipers.

both calipers are relatively new....less than a year old.

i recently installed BREMBO cross drilled rotors on both front calipers and im using gran sport carbon/ceramic pads as well.

it seems to be that since both the rotors and pads r both very thick, the clearance is not much, so in town driving (stop and go) seems to cause the brakes to drag/grab a little because my air gap is not enough.


does any1 know which brake pads i can use with 93 gsr calipers that are thinner or will fit better?

go measure them in a parts store, but i think bendrix import quiet is the best ive ever used

 

nvm it wasnt the pads. idk how i missed this. the brake booster has a leak. whoops

 

how would the brake booster cause a rub?

 

they're new so u have to break in. Drive for 500 miles and it will stop rubbing.

 

i agree with lak of speed i would also make sure the dust plate isnt rubbing
