If there is a hole in your a/c line it will either work or it won't, Freon is a gas and will leak very quickly if there is a hole. If it just wore through the insallation, your fine its only in your head. If there is an actual hole in the line just replace it with a new one

it just wore through the insulation... im sure that insulation really helps with the A/C as the A/C doesnt work well anymore.... (compared to a honda civic A/C)
thanks for the reply...but do you know of anything to replace that insulation?

JohnnyBoy installed my AEM and he did a great job to address this problem.......ziptied my A/C lines together to bring the outer line farther away from the intake........then he put a foam piece in between the lines and the intake.......works great.........zero rubbing.............couldn't be any happier

My AEM got worn by the AC line so I cut up an old bike tire, wrapped it twice and zip tied it on both sides. No problems for almost a year now.
Well, when/if the AEM is destroyed by the A/C lines (currently bound with zipties)... it'll just force me to go with the Mugen CAI. Then, I'll show those A/C lines "who's da boss". (smack! Tony Danza!)
well the 1st week i had mine those nuts on the lines right where the coolant res is , , , they put a nice gauge in my aem too. thats when i ziptied them
