Army Endorses Motorcycle Gear for returning soldiers
Army Endorses Motorcycle Gear for returning soldiers
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Many soldiers are coming back from the desert with an influx of money and buying the toys they could never justify paying for before. One of the biggest selling toys to soldiers is motorcycles.
With a massive increase of un-educated, undergeared motorcycle riders in the US Armed Forces, the death rate of troops has gone up exponentially. Because of this, the US Army has begun endorsing motorcycle apparel for troops to wear.
Theres an ad in the new Cycle World for gear thats approved by the US Army that Power-Trip is selling.

I'm on the fence on this
An influx of money to buy a bike but not enough common sense to buy some gear? There's more to the problem than money or endorsments.

maybe they would be better off not buying liter bikes as their first bike

I swear, if you ever had anything constructive to say in this forum, or anywhere else on H-T my head would explode.

I meant what I said, but I did not mean it the way you have it. The poster I quoted asked for is wrong with the picture. Instead of simply saying he does not have a helmet on, I said what I said.
But yea, he has all this gear on and no helmet ... kinda ironic. Maybe he needs a US Army Camo helmet.

I think they should have a beater ex500 and put any soldier who wants a new motorcycle on it and see how many minutes it takes for him to crash it.
