Isnt that a stock tsx/accord key?

Edit* It's a 2006 factory Accord key. Good idea on Honda's part, one less thing on a key chain.

the key part is very easy, as long as your key does not have a immobilizer in the jey it self, you need to be able to trim the black plastic off the key it self so it fits in there

and the alarm button part, is actually a self contained little pack that you can very easily pull out, and if you know anything about electronics, you can swap the insides from your alarm remote into the little pack in the key so it fits

i was goin to do it in my itr, but i cant shave parts off my key because off the immobilizer, so iv got an extra key layin around

this is how its done.
http://tsx.acurazine.com/forum...24807

but im pretty sure that my 00 ex key does not have an immoblizer in it, so when i try to program the new remote i get nothing. so maybe they dont match up? and you cant just swap out the board from my 00 fob because its bigger than the new accord key even is

bunch of small cranium mugs up in here... it appears to be a car key, that pulls out of the little alarm remote.

if all goes well in the next week or so, ill be getting a new motor, with hondata, so ill have no need for the immobilzer key, so im gonna get a regular key, that i can cut down and shave it to fit, and go talk to some people about the alarm remote being done to fit in the key

ill let ya guys know how it turns out

I think that it's a keypad with a removable key that sits within the remote. Judging by the pictures, you can actually see part of a button, as well as the hole for your key ring. Pretty neat if you ask me...
