Default 11" wilwood fasbrakes kit for the Ef

I hear good things about fastbrakes, not to mention they're the only company that I know of that offers 11" rotor kits for all 4 corners on the Ef civic. I'll be buying the kit that uses the 4 piston wilwood calipers...

My only problem is...that dreaded wheel fitment issue.

Does anyone have this kit on their EF...if so, do you know what the smallest wheel size/offset that you can use is???

If it helps, I plan on using OEM integra 15" mesh wheels for daily driving, and 15" Enkei Rpf-1's for racedays

I know that I am not answering your question directly but my close friend has the FastBrakes Kit / Wilwood on his EG hatch and he is rolling around on 15'' knock off slipstreams street and road race no problems, stops like a mother!! Make sure you do brakelines.

have you ever thought of saving some money and doing the ITR front and rear brakes?

You can use ITR, accord wagon or 4 lug legend calipers for the front. with 4pot legend, prelude, or ITR rotors redrilled to 4x100. they are all 11.1" in diammeter

and then you can use 02 EP3 rotors for the rear and ITR, DC5 or EP3 rear calipers for a 10.3" rear brake upgrade. shouldnt cost more than 200-300 bucks. for the whole thing.

The Wilwood calipers save weight, but OEM calipers don't.

Anyways, I have the kit & had a heck of a time getting wheels that fit. The volks in my sig the I'm selling is because they wouldn't clear the caliper, not even close. Most wheels with deep lips won't clear. I know someone with Stark's that uses this kit & they clear because of the sharp angle they take near the lip. Most OEM wheels may need a 3-5mm spacer. I bought some 15" Volk Group C's with a 42mm offset & they barely did not clear, so I currently use 5mm spacers up front to clear the caliper.

So what I'm saying is your Meshes may need a 3-5mm spacer. Your RPF1's are hard to say, but I'm thinking they won't.

Just call Brian at Fastbrakes he is a stand up guy, and FULL of knowledge. He will be straight.

I also have Flik Fuel's that fit over my 11.1" brakes. http://www.edgeracing.com

Rpf1's will NOT fit over 11" brakes. They just barely clear my oem 10.2".

Slipstreams and team dynamics pro race will work. Fastbrakes should be able to tell you others.

$950 for the whole shebang...although Im not sure if the front brake lines are included.

I also have 10.2 rotors, and I have 14' toyota wheels that fit just fine. Its damn close, but it fits. What offset are your rpf1's?

I checked rota's website, and the slipstreams have offsets from +35 to +40. Enkei offers the 15" Rpf1's in two offsets....+35 and +41.

I appreciate the help, but its easy to say "this fits, no it doesnt" all day...but without important info, like what offset, which calipers, etc...doesn't really solve any of my concerns. I know there is a picture somewhere on fastbrakes website that has a 5zigen FNO1R-C on the 11" kit...and it fits fine. The offsets for this wheel are +33 and +42

I have the fastbrake 11" kit on the front with the teg calipers and my Konig Heliums clears with no problem. Pretty much the same wheel as the Volks for sale up there^^

Have you thought about going with the $250 kit with teg calipers? Still a big upgrade, and it would appear that you'll have less fitment issues. I never saw the 4 pots but it sounds like they might stick out more.

You can use 90-00 teg calipers.

The $150 kit comes with the adapter and you'd just need the calipers/pads and corrado G60 rotors.

The $250 kit comes with everything except calipers and pads.

The $500 kit comes with everything including lines and Axxis pads.

What I did is buy my own calipers here.....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Calip...QQcmdZViewItem

They are practically brand new with pads. Came to $35 shipped.

Then I bought corrado g60 rotors from napaonline (NOBODY seems to carry these in stock) for ~$60 shipped.

Then I bought the $150 adapter from fastbrakes. I already had braided lines so that wasn't an issue.

I spent ~$245 for my 11" front brakes. Throw in some SS lines and it's $350.

I don't have any reviews as my car is on stands awaiting the rotors to come in, but the calipes have been mounted cause I was curious about fitment and I have about as much fitment as furyof4 has. Roughly one finger all around.

That's a 15" enkei with 10.2 brakes? That's how much room I have on my 11" with Konig Heliums.

EDIT: You're somewhat local

corrado rotors??? whats the pattern on them??? not to familiar with brakes and what will work and what wont....looked into those calipers but a question does a 4 piston caliper make a hell of a diff over the 1 piston design or is it really not worth it and only for looks???

unfortunately, RPF1's are notorious for having terrible brake clearance issues. looks like you'll have to go with the 10.2" fastbrakes kit

16 and 17 inch rims look extra hella gay on EFs. well 17's do, some 16 will pass but most everyone here wont go with anything bigger than 15.

Corrado G60 rotors are what come with the fastbrakes kit. The kit was designed around them and according to fastbrakes, it is the ONLY rotor that will work. I don't know if anyone else has found an alternative.

They are 4x100 bolt pattern and 11". I think it is the hat height that makes them different then a lot of other rotors.

Man that is bad news for me. I really want RPF1's but they will never clear my brakes.

91EX knuckles, Accord Wagon Calipers, 11.1" Prelude VTEC redrilled rotors, under Kosei K-1's.

Do you need 91 ex knuckles? or can they bolt to 90-91 std knuckles?
