Default Anyone else buy a stock type-s with slotted rotors f&r and red calipers?

I recently purchased my 05 DC5 (12k on motor) that had slotted rotors front and rear along with red calipers. I haven't seen any other Type-s' that have colored calipers (other than Brembos). They don't look like they were painted with a can, so I was just curious. I'll post a pic asap. Any input would be appreciated.

It's an A-spec brake kit. I don't know about the painted calipers though, first owner probably a ricer.

I took a closer look and the calipers do look painted I've modded my Hondas in the past, but this was a clean job. I lucked out with the slotted rotors f&r, but now I'm wondering why all the trouble of painting the calipers and upgrading the brakes if they barely drove the car. Who in their right mind would trade in an 05 Type-S to a Honda dealership? Maybe they needed a Honda Odyssey...hahaha. I've always bought my Hondas new, but this was the first used car I bought. I actually was going in to buy an 07 Element, but after test driving the DC5 and the wifey laughing at me in the Element it wasn't a hard decision to make. I actually enjoy driving to work...hahaha. Thx for the replies fellas.

The calipers are red. I'm pretty sure they were sprayed cuz there is some overspray (barely visible). After having color changes on my last two rides, one gets to know about body work. Oh well, it looks good.
