Price is a tad high I'd say for that mileage.

I just picked up an 01 F4i with 8k miles for $4200 in mint condition with Windscreen, slip on and upgraded sprockets.

Just an FYI

Good luck.

you're also in St. Louis. Stuff in SoCal tends to be higher.

Wow...your buddy's rear stand is pretty far underneath the swingarm.

Good luck on the sale. Along with the 4k-price, remember he's selling a Kawi. While some are great bikes, they tend to not hold their value as well.

My rearstand. the end of his swingarm has some stuff on it that makes it not so compatible with my crappy LP rearstand.

kihun cha:
judging by what asking prices are on the 3 local CL (LA, SD, OC) are for similar bikes (same model, varying mileage, varying conditions), this bike's price falls within that range. Since i'm constantly combing LA.CL:MCY, i'd say that it's not an insulting high, ridiculous, fantasy price, nor is it the lowest, gotta jump on it right away price; and really the "obo" is there for a reason. The miles are high, but it's been babied as a commuter, maintained well by the previous owner, current owner, and has never dropped. The plastics are damn near perfect, and it runs great. It's understandable if no one here wants to buy it, or think it's a rip-off for what it is, but also remember that it's not sitting in your garage, nor have you ridden it or seen it. As awesome as my photo skillz are, it's not the same as looking/sitting/riding it IRL.

anyway, i'm sure the input is appreciated, one way or another. i don't particularly want him to sell the bike, just cuz it means downtime and that we can't ride every sunday, but from as objective a standpoint as i can be credited as having, it's not an outrageous price.
