Default jdm p30 ecu question... confused

Long story short, i dropped in my built b16 motor into my 93 dx hatch and i got recommended to get my ecu pre-tuned so i can be on the safe side cuz i'm running on high compression...... The shop then said to get a p28 ecu and chip it, but i have a obd-1 jdm p30 but the guy said those weren't chippable, i thought they were........ need help asap on what to do

The JDM P30's are chipable, but they require some surface mounted hardware and someone that's willing to install it. PM me if you can't find someone in your area that will do it for you.

I think the JDB P30 is also missing the baro sensor so that needs to be disabled in the ROM.
