Thanks in advance
Use the 99-00 civic si (p2t) ecu. If you have to buy a conversion harness to convert from OBD2a to OBD2b then thats what you gotta do. I have a 2nd gen JDM b16a in my 98 ek and repinned my 98 engine harness and added the correct plug from a 99 civic engine harness. So I have a custom 98 lx engine harness with the ecu plugs from a 99-00 civic . And i'm running a 99-00 si ecu, with no probs.

In order to get my motor bar'd into my chassis i don't i can use a jumping harness because the ref will check to see if i am using the correct ecu for the car.
Thanks for the info though

i think that only applies if you were trying to use an older ecu, like an OBD1 P30/28
