hmotorsonline.com is probably the most legitmate dealer in JDM motors in the US.

They're out in CA aren't they? How much avg you think they charge in shipping accross the country? Trying to decide what's cheaper, picking it up, or paying a god aweful ammount in shipping.

at OP:
Very legit, very good. Bad reports are rare and often fixed.

Yes, they are in Burbank right off the 5 freeway. As far as freight charges, I am not even sure how much they charge to tell you the truth.

I've personally seen five motors that have come from them, all have ran problem free. Steve is a great guy, and will replace any broken sensors or anything that was damaged during shipping.

If I recall correctly, mine was around 300-350 shipped. But that was a full H22 swap, front and rear brake swap, mounts, and axles all out to South Florida. The shipping manifest said 2 pallets (engines parts - 700lbs)!!

I can recommend hmotorsonline.com. Last month I got a jdm b18c type R from them. The engine runs great! The swap went smooth thanks to Steve!!!!

Shipping was $300 to Ohio, with "lift gate" delivery to my house.

I was the shop manager for a shop in Birmingham, Alabama, and we bought almost every motor from Steve at hmotors with not one problem, until a couple of weeks ago. We got a JDM B16 and when we installed the motor -- it knocked. We called steve, and he said no problem. He replaced the motor and paid the shipping!

By the way, the new B16 came with an APEXi header!
We have been buying motors from them for about four years with only one bad motor, and it was handled professionally!!!!!!

for hmotors!
