Second gear on B16A2 tops out at what speed?
What speed(mph) is second gear in a B16A2 supposed to top out at? Because I tested mine out today and I hit the fuel cut in second gear right when it hit indicated 60 on my stock speedo. Is that about right? I thought it was supposed to top out at like 62mph or something
Kinda OT:
I remember reading an ariticle in SCC or something talking about ALL cars are geared to hit about 60mph at the top of 2nd gear. Interesting reading!!
It's probably due to the fact that most automotive critics rely so much on 0-60 times to market vehicles.

Does the weight of the car affect what speed you would be at? I swear I hit high 60's w/ my GSR in 92 gutted cx. Sound right?
With the USDM 99-00 Si motor(B16A2) and the stock redline of 8k, you hit the redline at 59mph. The 94-97 delsol vtec that have the B-series motor have a redline of 8200, so im guessing the mph will be 2mph or so higher b/c of the extra 200rpm increase.
