Default new rear calipers needed?

I just found out my rear brakes are messed up. my rear driver's side brake screeches when I'm turning to the left which seems very strange. and it seems as though they are applied a bit all the time, plus IRAC told me that I need a pair of new calipers, does that seem truthful? and it randomly will screech under normal acceleration. is that some sort of way of telling me that it needs new pads?

Before you go that far, I would replace the pads and drain/replace the fluid in your entire system.

Have you done any adjusting to the e-brake?

yes I have adjusted the e-brake. but when I turn, like I said, my rear driver's side brakes scrape really loud, but it only happens at random times, not when I brake though. but I can feel resistance. A marathon service shop said my brakes "seized up" and I need new calipers. I was just wondering if there is some sort of fail-safe that is made to trip the sensor and cause pressure to be added at all times when my brake pads are worn?

you can try this by having the car jacked up and trying to move the wheel.. you will be able to look and see if the pad is touching the rotor.. mine were seized up and i finally got them in.

mine seized up, the part that slides doesnt slide anymore. you can find out if its seized by taking it off and trying to see if it slides or try turning the piston back in
