Could this be axles?
I have a 90 CRX with a B16, Y1 with LSD with hasport mounts. Im using 90-93 integra axles, with dust rings removed. I have had these axles for almost 9 months now. They fit horrible, I cant turn my wheel all the way or they bind. About 3 months ago I got a slight vibration in the steering wheel above about 60 mph. It started getting worse so I rotated my tires and that did nothing. Now it will vibrate at any speed but about 10% of the time it wont vibrate. When it does vibrate it pulls to the left and when it isnt it goes dead straight. Now just about 2 weeks ago I started getting this knocking sound whenever I turned mainly left. Like something was on my trunk rolling around. Now in the past couple of days whenever I make a left turn I can hear a low pitched growling type sound. So Im pretty sure its my axles but will that cause the steering wheel to vibrate like that? Im hoping my warranty on the axles is still good and wont charge me anything to replace.
i had the same probs a couple times. I replaced both axles and it went away for a little. It now is happening again and i suspect intermediate shaft cause the bearing seemed loose when i had it out last
its ur axles, not saying ur intermediate shaft is bad too, but im like 95% sure ur axles are ****. get under there and tug on em, if they move excessivly and feel loose and rattle, then replace em, problem will go away
