pr3???? Please Help Me!!!

I JUST BOUGHT A GSR AND THE STAMP ON THE BOTTOM BLOCK HAS BEEN GRINDED OFF... THE ONLY OTHER MARK I CAN FIND IS PR3 NEXT TO THE OIL PAN... IS THERE ANY WAY TO TELL WHAT KINDVE OF BOTTOM BLOCK I REALLY HAVE...

well i know a pr3 is a sir code. but to tell exactly what it is i am not sure

A 'PR3' cast into the block would indicate B16Ax. Since you found it near the oil pan, I'm wondering if it isn't actually on the oil pump or one of the brackets. Can you provide a picture of what you found?
