my friend just told me that my old car made it in import tuner, the june issue in readers rides!!!! she better not be lying. if anyone can scan and post up pix it be kool!!! i had a blue 97 accord with ww kit, 65 shot nos, pioneer 7in tv, axis mech rims, etc.. i totalled it last december. but the legacy of the lx continues!!!

I guess each magazine has its own following. There are a lot of people into IT stuff. I'm not. But it is at least not as blatently wrong like Euro Tuner. The editor of Euro Tuner also likes being a blatent ******* to the people that write in to the magazine. He also admited to 'making-up' guestimates of 0-60 and 1/4 times and stating them as facts.

The only import/compact mag that is halfway decent is SCC.

SCC is as biased as anything out there, remember the Type R vs. Gt Mustang comparo? Turbo is my favorite.

Its the same difference when dealing with journalism IMO.

 

i got IT for a year...it would have been worth it if it was 10 or 15 bucks...but the subscription is like 27. blah...then I got superstreet for a year, that wasn't much better, but a ton more content...i got SCC a long time ago...still like it the best. I need to get another subscription for it though. I'm always buying the damn thing. And yeah Turbo is a bad *** magazine. It'd be much better if I had a supra tho..

 

i subscribe to SCC, only because i like that they do real dyno runs and post real numbers, not claimed. they also do tech/project cars like no one else.

the only true magazine for enthusiasts is GRM. i will never let my subscription for that ever die.
