I currently bought my friends type r tranny off his 2001? integra type r. Well i've been using this tranny and the more I drive it, I dont think I like the short gears. I used to have a LS tranny but I blew it at the track, but I like the LS tranny better. From what I hear the shorter gears help track times, but for my driving I would rather have a different tranny, therefore I am looking for someone who wants this tranny. My car is a 97 acura integra ls-t. I guess this tranny is a LOT better for ALL motor cars, more then it is for turbo, well atleast its not for me.
When I bought this tranny off him, he told me he had it rebuilt, but since I put this tranny in, I noticed problems with the 4th gear, 5th gear and reverse. These gears should and or will need to be looked at before the tranny is installed. And since I dont have the expenses to fix this tranny I am going to sell it, therefore my loss if your gain. Everyone knows this tranny is a very expensive tranny. thanks
