I've actually seen pics of it done.. BUT, unless you wanna spend a shitload of money for a shop to fabricate the mounts and getting your geometry correct, it sounds like a better idea to trade for a B-Swap or sell it and buy one.. At least they bolt right in and you know it's as reliable as you can get! It's a HONDA!

1) why would you destroy a perfectly good honda hatchback with that motor?

2) its a lot of custom work involved and this happens to be one of those "If you have to ask you cant do it." questions.

If you get the FWD SR20 from a bluebird (i think thats the car) with custom mounts you could make it work. But theres alot of fab work to be done and wiring. Itll cost alot for this swap.

its pretty easy, just custom work, and you have to weld your sunroof shut because of the extra torque....
but on a serious note- I wouldnt even consider it, sell the swap, and buy a motor

you can get the SR20 non turbo FWD out of a Sentra SE-R, which were produced up untill 1999 from 1991. There were 2 different body styles. The motor put out 140hp out of 2 liters so i has more tourque then a B series, plus from 91-94 it came in a 2200 pound car. I was gona get one but their rare and its a Nissan ( needed it to last more then 2 more years after i bought it)

Getting ready for race wars??

On a serious note, I would sell it and get a gsr or type r motor, there is much less fab work and a lot more aftermarket support (in terms of the swap) for the b series into a hatch.

Seriously a waste though. Only hardcore shops with hardcore time and money to waste do things like this. It's not the best thing in the world to do, hell, it's not even that cool.

It's basically an excersise in "Look what I can do"

Seriously.. Why are we even having a discussion about this topic? It's a NISSAN engine in a honda civic.. Last I heard, we're on HONDA-TECH.COM..

If you wanna work on oil leaking hard to work on problematic nissans all day, why don't you go to http://www.SE-R.net ???

Unless you're going to do something REALLY stupid like putting a Blown Chevy small block in a CRX, I think you're wasting your time here.. *shrug*

in all honesty, aside from the difficulty in axles, this is the type of crazy **** that domestic country boys with welding machines do. It wouldn't be that hard to do if you have welding experience and if you're unemployed lol.
