HFP lip kit problem !
I just got my SI last week and i had the HFP full lip kit put on. I see now the passenegr side is comin off in the front, the side skirts are comin loose, and the front is uneven below the headlights. I have to push the front bumper just to make it even under the headlights. I am def takin it back this week to bay ridge honda and i am going to flip if they dont make it right. I am curious has anyone else had similar issue's with the glue strip's not sticking right or uneven issue's anywhere on the full kit if so i would like to know to compare.
Yes it was put on by the dealer and they told me it will be coverd for the regular 3 year 36,000 warrenty. Plus they gave a 5 year 60,000 extended warrenty for no charge anyway so i am coverd for a while lol.

I have the same exact problem that WILD_WILL stated. My front lip was coming off on the top side, passenger right before it curved to go to on the side where it meets the quarter panel. I took it to the dealer they put rubber washers on the inside of the fenderwell where the lip bolts to. So now there is about an 1/8 gap bettween the lip and the actual bumper where it bolts, not to mention the lip is pulled back on the passenger side more now and doesnt really line up. Also the side skirts are peeling off on the left top corners (by the door) above the i vtec stickers...
I am not sure how they are going to fix it maybe more 3m tape or ect. I know they better not do some retarded rig job just to make it work this kit cost me $1,500 its getting done right.
yep, the right corner of my rear bumper was peeling off. My wife took it down to dealer for me hoping that they'll fix it w/out any hassle. turns out the dumbass service advisor tried to tell her "that's how it suppose to look". I told her to tell him to go and take a look at another Si on the lot w/ the hpf kit. long story short-they fix it.
Totally feel you on the whole rigging it up. They told me there wasnt much more that they could do. I told them thats kinda messed up seeing as how i bought that kit for the fact of OEM fitment.... im getting the guy thats in charge of the district to look at it

As you should. Don't settle for anything less than perfect for what you paid for the install, and the fact that they stress it is covered by the warranty.

sorry guys to bump in , lol well i got my kit off honda dealer on ebay so i got it less expensive color of my choice , i received it yesterday ( the enitre lip kit) and alonge with detailed instructions , i have gone to the point of removing bumpers ( front n back) replacing tail lights headlights and anyways i was wondering if i should consider this a problem ? should i take it to a dealership to install? they'll rape me on the price i know that so what you guys think should i do it or go and ask for quotes on diffrent shops?
