Default adding performance parts to 90' Accord...Worth it?

Hi, I got a 90' Honda Accord in good shape(only a few minor problems) and let me say I am not really good at mechanics, but I also don't feel like buying a new car(not worth it) so I am thinking of adding/replacing parts to increase life/power.

See it's a good car, but it doesn't have a lot of ***** and I want to "sup it up" for better performance.

My question is since it is 16yrs old, is it real hard to find performance/replacment parts for an older model car like this one. and if not what are some of the first things I could add/replace to add a little more power?

Thanks,
Michael

You won't notice any gains off anything cheap. You could find parts but the only way you'll get noticable power is a swap/turbo. If you have the money, a h22 swap isn't that hard. In fact you can get a step-by-step guide... http://www.ultimateresourcegui...x.php

Do you know where to order the H22 and/or how much they usually sell for?

Thanks,
Michael

A few of my friends bought motors from them, and were quite pleased.

yeah if u want to make ur car faster u have to invest. many go with a h22 swap but you can swap different engines inthere. plus on top of that u can build ur engine and turbo it. some peole have turbo their stock engine up to 10 psi or around 220 hp daily driving. there is a website that is only for 4th generation honda accord. its called http://www.cb7tuner.com i belive there u might fing more information for ur car. but keep in mind in a 16 year old car u have to take care of other things too. lol

You can always Turbo it, F22 Blocks are able to handle a decent ammount of boost,

You can either spend 3k on a motor swap and it have 200 power or turbo it and have 200+ ( if done right)

But since its an old motor i would Just go for the swap
