how many of you are rolling on..Blackies...donuts...steelies...or pizza cutters? for example...my EK/EJ hb is yellow...it has a spoon wing...and CTR mirrors...everything is good..but I'm rolling on blackies...yes yes..i know...i know... but hey..it works..and I'm just waiting for the perfect time to buy rims..cause I want to do it right the first time..so I was just wondering..how many of you are rolling on...well...Stockers? and what are some of ur major mods?

 

hehe i got my hatch like a month ago im rollin on steelies in the front and blackis in the back ghetto fabs but my rotas are supposed too come tommorrow or friday!

 

i wish i had donuts, i have black webs and i dont like them anymore, i want donuts hella bad.

 

how do they look like? Ill trade you..all tires are good on mines...donuts off of a 96 integra...195-60-14...ill even give you the caps..

Back in the early 90's like 93-95. Thats when the blackies got popular. I remember we used to take off the hub caps off the 93 coupes and run all blacks. There wasnt a big selection of rims back then. Blackies=racer too. but now, it doesnt have that coolness as it did back then.... oh well.

i have some 14" 88 CRX si wheels(black of course) but i am wanting to get 14" steelies I have falken azeinas on the Si wheels.Just tried of the SI's

 

i'm using the slips as donuts...i wanna get some other rims after my swap...

hell yeah! I'm rollin' on black steelies with no hubcaps. I have a black dx coupe. I'm gonna go to the strip with those on one of these days. It looks like a total sleeper. I got a b18c1 and the car has no power steering, no ac, manual windows and mirrors. The only accessory belt is for the alternator. There is so much room in the engine bay, it's funny to see. I wonder what it weighs. Stock i think I saw that a dx coupe weighs 2231 lbs. That's what edmunds said. Don't know though. it's a 94. anyone know for sure?

I've got the stock wheels w/hubcaps on mine. Who would guess this car runs 14.3?-Its fun cuz most people think its just a lowered hatch. I also think having stock wheels keeps the cops away sometimes.

 

What about HX rims? They're pretty sleeperish...

really I could care less about RIMS.

it's really all about what TIRES you are using... they are your contact to the road... without good tires you are toast/slow

Yea ive run at commerce, i dont have indiglo gauges though. I like Reynolds(silver dollar raceway) alot better. Its about 2.5hr drive though from my house. When i had my B16 swap i dropped 1/2 a second by going to reynolds. Elevation and track conditions are alot better.

also had those 13" unpainted..looked funny..i didnt care..this is when i first got my swap in...

cuz everyone i knew only had two to give..noone ever had all four...i guess it was a 757 VB thing...rolling two blackies up front...

 

my car is pretty much stock so of course i got black steelies, or "fake spoons" :D
