Default 5th Gen Headlights

Just wondering if the same H1 bulb is used for high and low beams, i had Silverstars in it, a few nights ago the left light went out, but the high beams still work? then while trying to fix that, i test the lights and my right lowbeam is out as well, but that highbeam also works, i was wondering what the bulb is in that little circle cutout in the lamp, mine is really dim and doesn't put out much of anything, is this normal? i wish i could get a picture of it but i'm at work right now.

do you know what that little bulb is in the bottom right corner that comes through like a circular cutout? on mine when the headlights are on this bulb is like barely lit, same with just the fogs, is it supposed to be brighter?

its just a small driving light. its a wedge light bulb u buy at kragen for like 2 bucks. both the low n high beams are h1, so when i had one go out before, i just swapped the bulbs to drive home.

The little bulb is a 168. Tiny little wedge bulb. I bought hyperwhite LED ones on ebay for like 5 bucks and they look sweet. much brighter than the stock yellowish looking ones, and with hyperwhite lightbulbs in the low beams, the led driving light adds nicely to the color, instead of having a hyperwhite bulb with a yellow spot inside the housing like you'd have with a stock halogen 168 bulb in there.
