Im excellent, though I am tired.

And Japan always models normally start a year before ours.

Like my Prelude. In the US its 92-96 - In Japan its 91 - 95.

Thats only 53,000 miles, depending on how your friend drove the car, the engine will be in great shape if he didn't beat on it. The mileage is low on the chassis so it should be solid. Some people throw down 300+ hp on stock B series blocks w/ 100k+ miles, so 53k is nothing. Mileage doesn't tell the whole story of a car, check the oil, bushings, and stuff that will go through wear and tear to see how the car was driving to determine if it is still in good condtion not if its to old. Make sure the doors close well to see if it was in an accident that may have caused structural damage. As far as I'm concerned a 1999 car isnt to old, now you dont have to worry about voiding the warranty when upgrades are added. Don't let the trial user in my profile fool you thinking I'm a newb, I've been on the H-T boards for awhile but got rid of my old account because I thought I was out of the Honda scene till I saw some amazing S2000's being tuned that inspired my up and comin project. Hope this helps in whatever answer you were looking for since I'm not sure why you were asking the question.
