I'v seen some DC2 recaros for sale, what should I look for too see whether they are genuine and not knock off's?

I think it has a tag on the bottom of the seats. On the bottom, there will be three mounting holes on each side (2 in the front and 1 in the back). Says Recaro on them.

 

cool, so the underside of the seat where the holes are for the rails?

Most knockoff seats aren't quite as stiff as true Recaros either.

Also original dc2 rails have recaro inprinted on them?

 

The bolsters are stiffer and the seat itself is more solid. I'm not too sure about the rails, though.

The OEM rails don't have Recaro on them. But the bolt pattern for the rails should be like stated above. Here are a couple pics of my DC5 Recaros with DC2 rails. The identifying marks should be the same.
