2000 civic si stage 2 cams

2000 civic si stage 2 cams
got a huge lag at 6k rpms. skunk2 stage 2 cams set at zero degrees not tunned yet. anyone know or have had this problem. theres just a huge pause... , um stock compression i/h/e im, tb, p28ecu obd1. i dunno u guys need any more info.. any one help.....
