h2b or h22
im doing an h22 swap in my ef before next summer. thats not a question. my question is if i should go with the h2b or just the whole h22 swap. on hmo they have the h22 motor, lsd tranny, and ecu with wiring harness(i think) for 2300 plus shipping. or on passwordjdm they have an h22 longblock for 1200.
so h22, lsd tranny, and ecu for 2000
mounts for around 300
then axles
then dealing with the weird shift cables
or h22 for 1100
ys1 tranny no lsd for 500
around 900 for the h2b kit
mounts for 150 (locally)
axles
and simple shift linkage
and better gearing
ill have the explicitspeed crossmember either way
also with explicitspeed they seem to have the hood gap problem down for just the h22 swap(correct me if im wrong) and on there site they say they have perfect axle angles.
so if they have the hood problem fixed with good axle angles then the only benifit to h2b is the simple shift linkage and better gearing right?
iv heard people complain about weak h22 tranny's. but i doubt i'd get much more power than what it came with stock so i should be fine right???
keep in mind im still researching this so if i forgot something major go ahead and point it out. thanks alot
