Extra plug in rear taillight? 97 Accord
So I cleared out the amber reflector for my turn signals and noticed something interesting, I have just a blue plug from the wire loom coming from the front that's just sitting there, from what I can tell it's not connected whatsoever to the actual tail light portion but it was taped to it just to hold it in place. My first thought was the radio antenna but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm that it's for the antenna or is it for something else? And if it's for something else, anyone see any problems using it for a rear bumper fog?
Ah nah, I'll try to snap some tomorrow, and no it's a DX, no cruise, no antenna (it's in rear glass) no ABS, it's pretty basic, I was really confused by it. Looks very similar to the brake light plugs, but is blue rather than the tan/gray and was just chillin' there
I believe it may be for a third brake light on the rear factory wing.
I just took mine off and it connected on the driver side tail light.
