well, I just got her back from the painters, it's going to be my sister's first car when she starts driving, I think they are great cars for girls. She took some blurry pictures so sorry for the quality.

oh, and I need to paint the trim on the front bumper and the lower section, I think he forgot that I told him to leave it black and two tone the bumper to match the sides and back. I have all the rear glass back in it now, and the side mouldings. I went to the U-pull it and fond some great condition weather stripping for the doors and such. I still need to come up with a sunroof though.

I think it's going to the junkyard, although it might get enduro raced, 200 laps on a dirt track ftw.

LOL great for girls...unless you got a funny car you better shut the hell up with that ****, otherwise anything you got can be matched by a honda.

Man I'd never give my crx to my little sister. Too bouncy, too much road noise, and people in bigger cars will kill you without even realizing, lol.

You've made a ton of progress there however.. Love the silver paint

BTW, i like the silver too, not being a dick in my previous post but there is a good point to that unless you REALLY don't know anything about cars.

I got it for $1000 with a blown B16/LSD tranny and some performance parts in it and a CF hood, sold all the extras I wouldn't need for a total of about $1300. So I guess technically I got it for -$300. And yes, CRX's are cute cars for girls, next you;re going to say RSX isn't a chick car.

when i think girls cars... like a 2002 honda civic base model with a hawaiian lay hanging from the rear view mirror comes to mind. not a 89 crx si with a swapped b16....

and for the rsx.... eh... its all in the eye of the beholder

Yeah, I totally agree on the CRX not being for a female, let alone loved one. No airbags, small, and seeing one picture of a CRX in a car accident should make that decision for you.

You should have just gotten her a Neon

Chick Cars: VW Beetle (even though I love 'em)
VW Cabriolet
Del-Sol (Sorry, looks like it should be pink and come with a Ken Doll)
As far as safety, My Girlfriend's daughters are both fifteen and I wouldn't dare let them borrow my CRX. A fit would probably be a much better ride for a younger sister mthinks. My two cents, which don't buy much.......................Karl

I agree with topic starter. CRXes are chick magnets. If I was that shallow and insecure I'd pick up girls all week until they ran out.

Actually, I had purchased the SiR stuff, the fenders are on the car next to it, the stockers were much straighter so I went ahead and kept them. This car did come with a nice CF VIS racing ZC hood though. It's getting a d15b in it too that is in the other car, should be a nice little bucket when it's all done, I will post some pics of the seats I had re-upholstered too.

A car is a CAR, it's not branded toward anything or anyone unless you make it that way, besides thats sexist, lol.

I remember seeing somewhere one time something about the 94-98 mustang V6 models being mass produced as a females car, with intention of alot of females buying them, but then again would you call the 94-98 GT V8 mustang a "chicks car" or a "guys car" heh, think about it.
