Today Ryuichi Kiyonari wrapped up the British Superbike championship by winning race 1 at Brands Hatch and finishing 2nd a red-flagged race 2.

Josh Hayes led every lap of the FX finale at Mid Ohio to take the FX championship aboard his Erion 600RR. I wanna say that's his first AMA championship. It was especailly significant considering the fact that he beat Yamaha's factory effort with the all new R6 with a semi privateer effort with the soon to be replaced 600RR.

I interviewed him back at VIR, just haven't posted it but I'll be posting it on vtec.net this week.

 

Ooh cool. Wasn't Kiyonari in a close race for the championship? G, you read on 600rr.net about Josh Hayes?

Yeah the BSB championship was right down to the wire. Kiyo came into the weekend with a 1 point lead but Lavilla crashed out in race 1 and he might have crashed in race 2 as well.

Wha?? I must have been out of the loop for quite awhile...but congrats to Hayes. I thought for sure it would have gone to either EBoz or the DiSalvo. Great stuff.

cliffs: Chick rider goes out with Hayes, breaks-up. Things turn not-so-well, Neil Hodgson gets in the mix. This is the story from the 600rr.net member, the exgf of Hayes. Just some drama stuff.

 

No apparently she was dating some other rider named Shaun. She said that he was trying to get other riders (including Josh) to convince her to get back with him. Josh has been dating that girl Melissa for quite some time now.
