S light random (hi RPM)

S light random (hi RPM)
need help or sugestion for 90 honda accord, in random S light on the dash
comes on and the RPM goes high to 2.5 to 4 at 60 mph. also reduce the
speed at the same time as the light comes on.
years before My over drive (sports) never worked , only the light comes on when I press the switch when car is running normal. so I did not bother about it
to fix. by the waY my speedometer some times work some times not
I have this problem about a year I never bother to fix it.
