Default a hard decision

so my dad is looking for a car for my brother... he came across a 2000 civic dx hatch with 135,000 miles, the thing is in pretty good conditin to say the least...selling for $4,000, the thing is... i dont think he wants to spend that much for my brothers first car so i started thinking...

i own a 94 civic dx coupe with a b16a swap... about 144000 miles on the chassis and ~36,000 miles on the motor, but the body is really beat up... and im wondering if i should sell my swapped civic to buy that hatch... and either swap that later or turbo it...

do u guys think it is worth it?

yeah even if you price the car low because of the body being messed up they will still lowball you because of it.
