Default Show me some FULL-SIZED radiator setups.

Hi all.

Soon I'll be getting a new radiator and this time I was wanting to go with full length one since the A/C is gone now. Could you please show me a few setups with a thought or two on the install and aftereffects?

thanks

craig

imagine the ac condenser and a half size radiator. now imagine those were a single piece and a little bit thicker. the cap is still in the same spot and the hoses are still in the same spot.

why would you want to run such a big radiator...the motor works best at a certian temperature if you keep too cold it wont make as much power and you will get **** for gas mileage......well i guess it would depend on your set-up..mayb that would help us help you with your dilema

the thermostat regulates the temperature of the engine NOT the radiator itself. A larger radiator would increase the cooling capacity so the radiator would be able to keep the engine cool during hard driving conditions. But a half size radiator would be fine unless you go road racing or you're turboed or something.

The larger core is going to help keep engine temperatures stable and decrease the time to bring high temps back down to the operating range.

If you're not running A/C the only reasons not to go larger is cost and mounting modifications that it will require.

How about those pics?
