I just picked up my third prelude, a 92 Si with 100k miles and a 5 speed. Car is nearly mint and runs great for only 2500 bucks! Anyway, they point of my thread is i noticed alot of you have had more than 1 prelude, so i was wondering if you would post how many youve had and a brief history of what happened to the ones you dont have anymore. Heres mine

1. Black 96 S model with auto. Back before i realized just how much autos suck, oh and the F22 didnt help either but it was a nice car for an 18 year old. Sold.

2. Black 95 vtec with 90k miles and salvage title. I loved this car and sold it for the most stupid reason i will never forgive myself for that. Had it for a month :-{

3. Blue 92 Si picked up yesterday, DC sports header, Apexi exhaust, test pipe in place of cat, battery moved to trunk, intake, clean as a whistle with new paint job and only 100k miles for only 2500 bucks what a freakin deal. Maybe il actually keep this one.

So tell me your stories people!

1984 Prelude, Red (base model, no AC). Carbureated goodness Got me through the end of high school and college in quick and fashionable form.

1993 Prelude, Red, just purchased in August.

 

1992 prelude si black put a jdm h22 in it 222k miles when it was totaled. I hit a telephone poll drivers door first. Thats my aviatar. 14.3 1/4mile

1995 prelude si red with the jdm h22 from the first prelude.

94 S had f22a/auto- now j-**** H22 ,did the 5spd conversion at same time.

94 BB1 front clip(sold after i got what i wanted off it)

So i've owned 1 1/2 ludes I want another lude though 3rd or 5th gen.

 

1994 silver si with and h22 manual swap-burned some valves and killed the computer, I'm almost done rebuilding it.

1989 yellow si 4ws bought to commute while the 4th gen is down, got t-boned in it about 2 weeks after I bought it, still my daily driver but it's dying slowly

 

old cars i used to have:
89 2.0 Si 4ws (red) auto sold for 1800
90 Si 5spd lt blue sold for 2900
90 Si 5spd white sent to junkyard
96 vtec (wrecked it and used h22 from it for my new 94 Si) still got it.

current ludes:

94 Si 5spd white 101k h22 swapped by me. (dailydriver)
96 Vtec nighthawk black pearl 5spd. leather. etc... my baby.

wow so it seems that on average most have had atleast 2 or 3. once youve owned a prelude you cant help but want another. ive had all types of cars and i always go back. at one point i went from a 96 trans am to a 95 vtec. albeit only because i had to give the firebird back to the dealer. but how many cars do you see people owning more than once? not many but it seems to be trend with preludes. either that or its trend for prelude to be sold/crashed/stolen lol
