Is insurance for 2004 Accord EX V6 coupe alot? How does it compare to rsx type s' insurance?

 

well who are you insured by? age? full time student? alot factors into this.

 

I am sure the rsx s will be more, but it all depends on the year, your age, driving record, ect.

 

The honda accord is a family car which is cheaper, the RSX type S is crazy high if your young.

 

My 06 is cheaper to insure than my 01 Ram which I find funny since it's worth more.

Insurance costs are more reflective of how likely you are to be in an accident in that particular car (sports cars are higher in this sense) and how much it costs to repair the damage afterwards, and are less reflective of how much the car is worth. More safety features on a car will also reduce insurance costs. A couple years back I actually read a rather lengthy and complicated explanation as to why truck insurance costs are higher than the average car, but I can't remember much of it with 100% assurance.
